Cookies & local storage

ToolGenX uses the minimum number of cookies it can get away with. No advertising pixels, no cross-site identifiers, and the one analytics tool that sets cookies only runs if you say yes. Here is the entire list.

Last updated:

Essential cookies (no consent needed)

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers which language you chose. Set by the internationalisation middleware. Lifetime: 1 year. Domain: agentskillpacks.com.
  • sb-* (Supabase auth) — keeps you logged in. Only set after you sign in. httpOnly, secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: 7 days, refreshed on activity.
  • cf_clearance — set by Cloudflare for bot protection, only when a security check is shown. Needed to pass that check.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics which is cookie-free and does not identify individual visitors. It hashes IP + user-agent into a rotating daily token that cannot be linked back to a person. No consent is required for Plausible under GDPR (German DPA guidance, 2023), so it runs for every visitor.

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

Since 2 October 2026 we also use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and products people actually use. It sets cookies, so it does not load until you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Decline or ignore the banner, no Google Analytics code runs and no Google cookies are set.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Lifetime: 2 years. Set by Google Analytics on agentskillpacks.com.
  • _ga_PNXSEE2VCQ — keeps session state for our Analytics property. Lifetime: 2 years.

IP addresses are anonymised, Google Signals and advertising features are off, and the data is not used for ads. Google Ireland Ltd. processes it as our processor; data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining there switches Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies.

What we do NOT use

  • Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Google Ads, similar.
  • Retargeting / advertising cookies.
  • Cross-site session sync.
  • Browser fingerprinting.

Browser local storage

Your browser may keep a small amount of UI preference data (e.g., dark mode choice) in localStorage, plus your cookie banner answer (key: tgx-analytics-consent). This stays in your browser and is never sent to our server.

If you block cookies

Browsing the marketing pages will work fine. Logging in and checking out require the essential cookies above; without them, those flows will fail.
